A decomposed texas indian with cactus and roses. Nice!!
you make it look so easy
Thank you
Thanks
How do you apply ram coat without it gunking up
I use a dauber to apply it and wipe the leather down till it is evenly applied. It will naturally dry and not be so gunky
@@AttackLineLeather what do you wipe it down with, I’ve been using a magic eraser, but if there are any lines dues to stamps it’s seems hard to get the tan kote evenly apply there, thank you for your response!
@@Swirlydread730 if there are tooled areas that need tan kote i apply it pretty thick in those areas to get good coverage. I dont wipe anything down. I let it sit till it totally dries. Then apply antique if you wish. I wipe that away with paper towels. Wait till the antique totally dries then i do another layer of tan kote. Ill then wioe some off with a paper towel and let dry
Super video, thank you. I am struggling with this at the moment, trying to get thick and thin smooth lines and curves.Could you give some detail on which brushes and settings you use.
This is EXACTLY what I’m looking for, thanks so much man! Don’t have the stitching machine, do you have any videos showing examples of hand stitching the leather?
Awesome. I dont have a video on hand stitching but if you look up Saddle Stitching videos there are tons.
I know this video is older but hopefully someone can answer my question. Where would I find the steel plates. Idk if any metal shops and how thick should they be? Secondly will any cutting board do?
Check out Arbour Press Guy on IG or his website. As far as cutting boards go, i like em thicker rather than thinner. You can custom order one at plasticcuttingboards.com
@@AttackLineLeather Thank you!!
Perfect thank you
Very good job! I like the portability of your pipe stands. You inspired me and have me thinking about the leather pipe stand… I need something that is kind of sturdy since I’m occasionally clumsy…maybe it’s the rum beverage I enjoy when I smoke a pipe? What if the leather loop was made with three or four layers. Possibly glueing or lacing the layers together? And maybe make the layers staggard in height possibly a quarter inch to give a wider base? I saw one guy use leather spacers and a bolt with a nut rather than a snap. I might experiment and use spacers of varying heights so that it forms a slight cradle. I have not tried leather working since I was in the Boy Scouts 45 years ago. I might just give it a try. Thank you!
Hi, I loved watching your video. May I ask the type of leather you used and how thick is it?
Thank you. I mostly use Hermann oak veg tan leather, and on ocassions use Wicket and Craig veg tan. For this video i was using around a 10oz piece.
Forgive me if I missed something, but do you seal again after the antique? I would have thought the antique wouldn’t stick when applying after Tan-Kote!
Yes, after the antique dries i apply a layer of tan kote
Very nice looks awesome ❤
OUTSTANDING ! My plan is to use the iPad and PROCREATE to generate patterns for metal engraving......I'll let ya know how it works out. Thanks for your clear instructions !!
This is awesome! Is this available for samsung devices?
I dont believe so. Look up Ibis Paint X
Would have never paid that kind of money for a hand operated sewing machine that's just crazy no matter who made it!
Great video dude! Any chance you can share the link for the steel plate? I’m having trouble finding it. Thanks!
Hey Austin, Have you settled into your new gig enough to throw out a new vid?
Things are definitely smoothing out. Im hoping to finish a few videos ive started. Thanks for hanging around lol
@@AttackLineLeather it's my day off. LOL
@@AttackLineLeather it's a month later and still no video. Are you putting in lots of overtime or are you seducing the K9? 😂😂😂 Happy Father's Day!
Your work is absolutely good. Can you plz tell which leather do you use for most of your fine quality projects? Can you plz tell the minimum leather thickness we can go for carving overall?
Thank you. I use Hermann Oak veg tan leather for most of my work. The minimum thickness i tool on is 4-5oz.
did you come around to getting a pattern for this ?
perfect. what size magnet?
Cool last name. Have been debating getting one of these but seeing the same last name it gives me a better idea.
Where can I buy this leather pattern book
Tandy Leather or Amazon
Well this is gon help me out so much on time cutting! Thanks for the video!!
We got the same name
How much would u charge to make a wallet the long kind let me know
парням нашим на войну деньги отправляйте а не этому валенку а он потом бежит жратву покупает и жрет в машине валенок а вы слушаете как он этим чавканьем вас унижает хи балбесы
Awesome man. I do knife sheaths and am learning to make them a little more artistic. Did you call that sealer Tan Coat? I have some spray art sealers and wonder if they’d work?
It might. Test on some scrap first lol
If i may make a suggestion. I currently have a headache and i like to watch leather asmr type videos to just zone out and watch someone create... You don't have to speed it up so much we do enjoy watching the process.. and speeding it up can actually make you noshis when watching. Just something to consider
Would have been good to see the freehand cutting of the curves etc ie speed and any tips. Being new to the craft getting accurate with cutting without the aid of a straight edge is a challenge. The coloured glue is a good idea.
Exactly - the title says how to cut them out, but then the video skips that important detail. Not helpful.
Incrediible leather workmanship...and a wholle lot of patience!!!
Отличная штука друг
You do every nice work !
Hello where can I get that pattern thanks .
Thank you for this! Would you mind sharing your pen settings. Mine are a nightmare
gorgeous! love the detail. My husband was a leather crafter but he passed away in January. Keep up the lovely work.

That’s an amazing work, where can I get the printable templates sir?
I want lether embroidery tool
Great video. Thank you, recently got this app to use for my designs and this has helped speed up my learning curve.
Genius.
Did you use a template for the letters? I have tried to find some but havent been able to. I need to make letters like thiis 1 1/2 to 1 5/8
For the large letters i did. I found them for free on dafont.com All yhe oyher letter stamps i bought from Tandy Leather or Hobby Lobby
I found that but can't open it after I download it
Great work dude. 🤙
Thank you
You are very good with that blade
Thank you
I need letters like that in 1 5/8 to 1 3/4
Love these tips. I personally would use the computer to design, and then transfer to leather.
What stamp are you using for the outline ?
nice carving knife, like the brass, where did you pick it up at? any suggestions on suppliers?
Thank you. Its a Barry King .5in barrel swivel knife. You can find them on their website. I order most of my leather from Springfield Leather co.
@@AttackLineLeather ,Thanks will check it out.👍👌👊
It the press was heavier u think. I can do it in one cut? Instead of multiple
You can also find a 3 ton press. I just got one and will hopefully have a review soon.
Itemize all materials. As an example, the ram foot is $50.00.
Do you oil at all ?
Sometimes i do. If i want to datken up the leathet a shade or two, i will use oil
